Orange Offers Juicy Broadband Bundle

November 27th, 2008 by Administrator

Now I’m having difficulty keeping up with the array of offers for mobile broadband just at the minute. The mobile internet providers are certainly doing a good job trying to compete for our attention.

To keep up with the fast pace of mobile broadband deals being offered by other providers Orange has followed O2 and Virgin in coming up with a home and mobile broadband combination, named quite obviously Orange Home and Mobile Broadband.

Well you can’t complain that that’s not an apt name because that exactly what they offer; according to their press release the new ‘Home & Mobile Broadband’ offer provides customers with the best in broadband connectivity whether at home or on the move - all for £20 per month. At home you will get up to 8 Mbps with a 10 GB download limit, a free wireless router and inclusive evening and weekend calls to UK landlines (starting with 01, 02 and 03).

You will still be able to connect to the internet when on the move with the inclusive USB dongle with download speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps and a 3 GB per month data usage allowance through the Orange mobile broadband network.

We’re all looking for a good deal these days and with Orange recently listed in the UK’s top three ISP list for fixed line broadband download speeds by Moneysupermarket.com and in October this year voted the top provider for ‘overall mobile broadband service quality’ and ‘best mobile broadband network’ by a YouGov mobile broadband UK wide survey, I think it might be worth giving Orange mobile broadband a second look.

Knee Boarding Tips For Beginners - Deep Water Starts

November 26th, 2008 by Administrator

Being new to the sport of kneeboarding it’s really hard to start off especially if you are a beginner. As an introduction to ‘boat-towed’ sport, a kneeboard is a great piece of equipment to practice with. The low center of gravity often makes it easier to get up on than a water ski or wakeboard, which both require standing up.

Here are two ways to do a deepwater kneeboard start, the belly start and the low buoyancy start.

The Belly Start

* The most common kneeboard start is the belly start or abdomen start. In performing this, you should put down your belly on the board with the strap laying forward and pointing towards the nose of the board.

* The nose of the board should be sticking out of the water. Place your one hand on the side of the board and the other hand grasping the rope and on holding the other side of the board.

* As the boat starts moving pull your knees ahead into the padded knee wells on the board. And as you do this, try not to bend forward, and keep your weight back.

* When you feel balanced, let go of the rope with your one hand, and with the other hand pull the strap up over your knees and tighten the strap to where it feels secure. Keep your arms extended and slightly bent.

The Low Buoyancy Start

* A low buoyancy kneeboard is one that is very thin, and while you are waiting in the water it will sink slightly into the water when you put your body weight to it. This allows you to go ahead to fasten yourself into the board before the boat pulls you up.

* It is easier if you adjust the strap to your preferred fit before you get into the water. This can be done on the swim platform or on a flat spot in the boat. You just simply get on the board and adjust the length to where it slides comfortably over you knees.

* After the strap is adjusted, jump in the water with the board. Apply weight to the board by pressing down with your elbows, and with your hands on the board in the same position as described in the belly start, pull your knees up on the board and below the strap. * This start requires less effort when the boat is pulling you out of the water and also it requires a lot of balance before the boat starts moving. You need to balance yourself to keep the board from flipping over while you are strapped in it as you wait to be pulled out of the water. Balancing in the knee board can be best achieved by moving your arms back and forth in the water as if you were treading water.

* You should remain in that position; keep your balance with the nose of the board pointing slightly out of the water. As the boat starts moving bend back and you should pop out of the water with ease. This is the time to tighten the strap if needed. Keep your arms extended and slightly bent.

Katana Samurai Swords: Beautify Your Home or Office

Many people buy will buy a katana sword for decoration but eventually become fascinated with sword play that they end up signing up for a martial arts class and make use of their sword.

Among the 3 sizes of traditional samurai swords the katana has always been the most popular among collectors and martial artists alike. In addition to the katana sword there is also the Wakizashi, or short sword and then the tanto sword, about the size of a large knife.

When choosing a katana sword there are a few things to consider when deciding which sword is right for you? First will this sword be used in for cutting exercises or for display only? Don’t think that if you’re wanting to buy a battle ready sword that it cannot be used for display. As a matter of fact most people who buy a battle ready katana sword never do anything but hang it on their wall. Why would anyone buy a battle ready sword but never really use it? Simple, because collectors want a katana sword that’s high quality and often they like to know that if they ever wanted to use it for cutting exercises they could. So if you find a battle ready katana sword then you’ve also found yourself a sword that will be a nice display. On the other hand there are many decorative only katana Samurai swords that will look very nice in any home or office. The difference is the amount of money that you’ll spend and the quality of construction.

If you want a battle ready sword you need to choose one that has a blade that is made from high carbon steel or folded steel. Any sword that has a blade made from stainless steel should only be for display. Stainless steel blades are not made to stand up to the rigors of cutting exercises or combat with other Samurai swords. Some of the best quality battle ready katana Samurai swords you can find are forged by Thaitsuki, Paul Chen and Cold steel.

Among the growing popular of samurai swords are the Kill Bill Samurai Swords. You can now buy a Kill Bill Sword just like the ones in the movie. Although they are not made for cutting exercises they are sharpened and look exactly like the actual movie. The most popular are the Kill Bill Bride’s Sword and the Kill Bill Guy’s Sword.

At Japanese Swords 4 Samurai we have a large selection of Japanese katana Samurai swords to choose from. Weather you want a katana sword for combat or just for display we’ve got what you’re looking for. You will find a full line of Japanese Katana Samurai Swords at our store, many of which are battle ready sharpened Samurai swords. You can find us at http://www.japaneseswords4samurai.com/

Hydration Needs, Kidney Function and Natural Bodybuilding Training Performance. What is Hyponatremia

November 24th, 2008 by Administrator

Article Description: With proper hydration being critical to the natural bodybuilding, this article describes what happens if the bodybuilder doesn’t drink enough fluids. How much fluid is needed and how to determine how much you need. The kidney function on the body’s regulation of fluids. The condition of Hyponatremia and the results.

Hydration Needs, Kidney Function and Natural Bodybuilding Training Performance. What is Hyponatremia?

By Kevin Doberstein CFT Copyright 2005 Nature Boy Bodybuilding

As a rule, most trainees don’t drink enough fluids while training. To make matters worst, the further the trainee becomes dehydrated the more impact it has on performance. The heart rate starts to elevate, the blood starts to thicken and the body’s temperature will start to rise. This especially true if you are training outdoors during hot temperatures. Heat exhaustion can start to develop. And if you continue to push it, it can turn into a heat stroke in severe cases. Even a slight decrease in body fluid (dehydration) can jeopardize performance.

Water makes up 55 to 75 percent of your body weight. Your blood is 90 percent water. If you become dehydrated the blood will thicken and also slow down and become less efficient for processing. Water helps the body store energy by gathering with the glycogen. Your muscle tissue is made up with 70 to 80 percent of water. With water making up a majority of your total body, you can see how important staying hydrated is to performance.

Calculating you body’s hydration needs.

It is rather a simple way to determine how much you need while training. Before working out weight yourself without clothing. Then weight yourself again in the same fashion after working out. If you lost weight this means you didn’t drink enough fluids to maintain. For example if you weighted 200 pounds before working out and after weighted 198 pounds you have lost 2 pounds of fluid weight. To make up the 2 pounds of missing fluid weight you will need to drink 32 ounces of fluid additional to what you are already taking in. In respect to body fluids, you want to replace 100 percent as a rule to aid the body in processing.

What is Hyponatremia?

Taking in too much water at one time brings on this condition. The over hydration of blood causes very low blood plasma sodium levels. The imbalance causes the rapid flow of water into the brain. Severe cases can result in seizures, comas and death. Athletes trying to dilute the urine enough to hide drug detection sometimes use the practice of excessive drinking of fluids. In general, excessive drinking of fluids and or sodium loss can cause Hyponatremia.

Kidney Function and Body Hydration.

The human kidneys are bean shaped and about the size of a closed fist. Twenty to twenty-five of the blood that is pumped through the heart flows through them each minute. They are comprised of three sections. The outer area is the cortex. Under that is the medulla. And inside the medulla is a hollow chamber called the pelvis.

The kidneys regulate your body’s fluids by increasing or decreasing the flow of urine. If your body becomes dehydrated it will hold back the production of urine and the amount that excretes will be dark color. If you become somewhat over hydrated it will increase the production of urine. And this urine will be clearer.

The kidneys also work to control normal levels of sodium and other electrolytes. Electrolytes are ions like sodium, potassium or chloride help regulate the flow of water molecules across the cell membrane. This is done through the urine. If the body is becoming dehydrated the kidney will filter out the sodium from the urine and keep it in the body to help retain water. If the body becomes hydrated it will excrete the sodium through the urine.

Overall the kidneys play a vital role keeping body’s fluids in balance. Especially after intense exercise or extreme climatic conditions like very hot weather.

Why Adjustable Dumbells Are Part Of Any Balanced Fitness plan

November 22nd, 2008 by Administrator

Dumbbell exercise is a key component of every balanced exercise and fitness regime. Finding the right dumbbells for your own specific fitness program is important and that is why adjustable dumbbells are ideal.

Adjustable dumbbells allow you to save space and time during weight training sessions meaning that you can purchase a set for your own personal dumbbell exercizes at home or you can find a set at the gym and use those.

Adjustable dumbbells are even more desirable because you don’t have to purchase a large set of dumbbells in order to change weight increments so your weights can change as your increase your strength.

With adjustable dumbbells you can adjust the dumbbells in five pound increments to increase or decrease the weight according to the dumbbell workouts you need to do.

To make the increase or decrease in the dumbbell weights for your dumbbell workout, you merely need to turn a dial that is situated on the side of the dumbbells.

In order to add or release weight plates in adjustable dumbbells in the correct way, you should position the bar and weight plates in the tray where you can then position the dial to the contoured end of the tray.

This ensures that you are changing the weights safely and effectively so when you are actually using the dumbbells, you are able to turn the dial counter-clockwise to release weights and clockwise to increase weights during your workout.

This is ideal because it means that you can adjust your workout according to what kind of challenge level you are looking for in your workout. The real benefit comes with the fact that you can change these dumbbells every day if you want to.

Adjustable dumbbells are widely available for purchase from fitness stores in your local area or from online catalogs over the Internet. Online companies and fitness stores that have their own website will quite often offer fitness equipment at well below retail.

Sometimes you can even have your dumbbell system sent directly to your home with free shipping, depending on how much you spend.

Two of the best brands of adjustable dumbbells are ProBell and Hex. ProBell offers a dumbbell system that sits on a high-impact nylon storage tray. Its plates are zinc dye cast and are coated to deliver long term durability. Hex dumbbells are also made from high quality iron casting that is very durable over time.

So make adjustable dumbells part of your balanced fitness routine. =========================================================== Find out why dumbbells are the best type of free weight exercises. Get reviews and useful information. Click ==> http://www.dumbells-info.com/

Senior Golfers Can Still Play Great Golf

November 22nd, 2008 by Administrator

If you’re a senior golfer…don’t give up and don’t give into the perception that’s it’s all downhill from here.

No way!

You have a lot of GREAT golf years ahead of you, but you need to take a different approach to your golf improvement.

The approach I’m going to talk about will quickly and dramatically transform your game; and you can do this all right in your own home in less than 30 minutes.

No more teasing…this secret approach involves your BODY!

Yes…it’s that simple!

Do you ever go on the course and start playing only to feel like you can’t make a full backswing?

How about your distance? Have you lost yards off your drives the last few years? And lastly, how about aches and pains? Does your back, shoulders, hips or even wrists hurt when you play or afterwards?

Then there’s only one choice!

Improve your current physical fitness, specific to your golf game.

You may have heard this before…but have you done anything about it? I know it can be confusing with all the information out there.

The first thing you need to consider is the credibility and experience of these professionals.

Do they know golf? How long have they been working with golfers. Have golfers ‘really’ improved with their programs, etc.?

I’m here to tell you there is hope…and a lot of it.

The first thing you need to do is find out what your limitations are. Is it strength? Is it flexibility? How about the mental? That’s a huge part of the game; but I can tell you, your mind and BODY are linked very intimately.

If you feel weak, tired and out of shape…your confidence will be so low it will be a miracle you can even complete a round of golf, let alone get a score you’re proud of.

It’s time to change all that! Right here…right now!

Taking ACTION “right after” reading this article is critical to your golfing future. I don’t believe in thinking about something. Dreaming about something. And not doing anything.

Have a clear, very specific picture in your mind of the kind of golfer you are capable of being and badly want to be.

I can’t tell you exactly what to do in this article. It would be 20 pages of meaty stuff that would get your mind going a hundred miles a minute.

But I hope in this article, I’ve motivated you to take a look at your ‘current’ level of fitness (both strength and flexibility) and come up with a plan (either on your own, or with the help of a qualified golf fitness professional) that will transform your game quickly and easily.

It’s not as hard as you think. Just doing a few of the ‘right’ golf stretches and golf strength exercises in your home a couple of times a week will make a world of difference.

Now get away from your computer and do this stretch right away! It will feel so good on your lower back.

It’s my Lying Leg Crossover:

• Lie on back with legs extended • Raise one leg and bend at knee to 90 degrees in knee and hip • Cross that leg over extended leg, while opposite shoulder stays on ground • Go until slight pull in butt and lower back • Hold and repeat once more • Switch legs and do opposite side

This is just one simple golf exercise of dozens you can do with minimal or no equipment that will quickly and dramatically transform your game for years to come!

Paintball Equipment - A Beginner’s Guide

November 21st, 2008 by Administrator

Getting involved with such an exciting sport like paintball really gets the motivation going. Once exposed to the activity, players want to start buying all the paintball equipment they possibly can.

It is wonderful that so many people are getting involved with paintball. The sport has grown in popularity so much that it is now played in over forty countries. International competitions are now taking place every year and professional paintball leagues have been around for a number of years.

Paintball equipment can be expensive to buy. A novice to the game really needs to consider all the options with paintball gear. Paintball guns, or markers, range in price from $100 to $1700. Much of the other gear shares the same discrepancy in cost. In paintball, you do really get what you pay for. In many cases, your level of playing may not be worth an extra couple hundred dollars.

The Whole Ball of Paint

One of the best ways to begin your paintball career is with equipment packages. Retail stores on the street and on the web put together special package deals for first time equipment buyers. There are two different ways the retailers will do this. The first way is with a selected marker, mask, and air tank.

The next, and preferred, paintball package deal allows you to choose the marker and then pay a set price to get the rest of the basic equipment. There are all sorts of packages available, but that gives you a good idea. Any paintball field requires a barrel plug, mask and goggles so you’ll be ready to play.

Upgrading Equipment Takes Time

When you’ve been playing for some time, it is tempting to upgrade equipment. Playing against all the other competitors, you’ll see all the fancy gear they are carrying around. It is only natural that your paintball gear be just as cool as theirs.

If you are ready for new equipment, talk to those around the field and practice range. The other players will let you try their equipment on for size. Taking it for a test drive will allow you to get to know it before buying more. Use the resources that are available, and then make a decision based on the good information.

Unlimited equipment and supplies upgrades are available for just about every paintball marker on the market. Picking and choosing wisely is the key to getting the most out of the equipment. Buying equipment just because it is new might be waste of time and money. Make sure that the gear is solid before spending good cash on it.

Without a doubt, much of the paintball gear and equipment is why we play the game. Just be sure to get the right equipment to help your game. Check out reviews online and talk to the experts and you’ll get it right. Read more about the gear:

The Process Of Golf

November 21st, 2008 by Administrator

Golf is learned little by little one step at a time.

Not exactly a modern American game, is it?

Well, if your heart is set on “convenience” sports, you might want to consider kickball or four-square. Golf isn’t learned in a day. Or even a year. According to some players - even a decade is too short! There’s no such thing as a perfect golf game. That’s all part of the “beauty and beast” nature that makes up this simple, complicated game.

There are some fundamental tips, though, that can shave a few years of frustration off your career! Some golfers disagree on even the basics. So I guarantee you’ll find somewhere someone who will disagree with me. But here’s what I’ve found to help golfers tremendously in improving their game.

The three most important steps that you want to keep in mind all the time are • keep your head still • keep your club head traveling in a straight line while in contact with the ball • relax your muscles.

I really can’t say enough about the importance of keeping your head perfectly still throughout your shot. I’ve seen frustrated golfers of all sizes improve immediately upon concentrating on this one step.

When your head is still, you can see the ball clearly. And how can you hit something that you can’t see?

Keeping your club head traveling in a straight line while in contact with the ball will help you avoid slicing and a host of other ills.

Relaxation of your muscles aids tremendously in keeping your balance. Balance is paramount to a good golf game and you don’t want to have to brace your muscles all over your body. Stand comfortably so you can reach the ball easily. As far as propelling the ball is concerned. the muscles which add to the force are the muscles which twist the body around. They’re the most powerful. So relax those arms!

If your game is off, go back to these three important steps. Don’t change your stance or swing. Just go back to the three basics and you’ll get back on track.

Juanfran: “Slo pienso en que el Espanyol esté ent, YA ES UNO DE LOS JUGADORES MS DESTACADO

November 20th, 2008 by Administrator
